What materials can I use for my signage?
The material used to make signs varies considerably, ranging from timber, aluminium, brass, acrylic, vinyl, stainless steel, foam, neon, Alupanel, Traffolyte and Corflute. The material used depends on the application for which the sign is used, whether inside or out, location etc. Our team can advise you on the most suitable material for your signage depending upon your needs.

What fonts can be used?
When choosing the correct font for your signage, it is important to consider factors such as visibility, readability, noticeability and legibility. Some fonts are difficult to read! The font you choose must be legible for the chosen application and must also reflect your brand. Our onsite Graphic Design team have considerable experience and will be able to advise you.

How long does it take to make a sign?
This depends entirely upon the type of sign you require, the materials used and the complexity of the signage. The team at Comcut will give you a lead time at the time of your order. We strive very hard to meet your expectations and the quoted turnaround time.

What maintenance will my sign require?
This depends on the material your signage is made from. Signs will need to be cleaned over time, especially outdoor signage. It is important to avoid harsh cleaners as this could cause damage. It is best to avoid cleaning products that contain ammonia; your safest bet is a soap and water mixture. Maintenance of your LED/neon signage is best left to our professional team. Does Comcut make signs in-house or do you outsource?
The vast majority of our manufacturing is done at our state of the art premises at Mulgrave. We custom make your signage. We invite our customers to inspect our premises; we will happily show you around! Contact us to make an appointment.

What if I have a budget?
We will give you different options and guidelines to help you meet your budget. Comcut will design, manufacture and install your signage using quality materials and methods available in a cost effective way.

Will you be able to do my artwork?
We have an experienced Graphic Design team on site that can assist you with your artwork and design to create a professional look to suit your needs and budget. Prior to manufacturing your signage, Comcut will provide you with high quality graphic proposals. This includes colour sampling and matching and mock-ups by super imposing your artwork to your building, shop front or vehicle.
